JANSONartGALLERY > The Kiln came with four and a half shelves. The cobwebs are proof it hadn't been used in a year.
JANSONartGALLERY > My new kiln came with a box of miscellaneous items that mean nothing to me yet. Cones? What are they?
JANSONartGALLERY > Looking down into the center of the kiln. Around the edges are the heating elements. They look like springs. I guess it's a little bit of a job to change them when they burn out but doable without a professional whoever that may be. Do you know of any professional kiln element installers? Me neither. :)
JANSONartGALLERY > My new kiln delivered 06/15/2008. The woman I bought it from warned me on the phone numerous times, "It's ugly!" I had to laugh. As long as it works that's all that matters to me. I bought it sight unseen. She was right it is ugly but I'm so excited it awesome to me. It stands about hip height. She said it's big enough to do good sized items but not so big you feel like yo can't fire it up because you don't have enough to fill it.
